Today, the United States reported 49,561 cases of the novel coronavirus, down from 55,134 (Covid Tracking Project). It's a second day in a row below 50,000.
We had 519 deaths today, down from 1059 a week ago.
Compared to where things have been today's statistics were pretty good. The usual graphs are attached.
