Today, the United States reported 43,130 cases of the novel coronavirus, down from 44,933 a week ago (Covid Tracking Project). If you follow the seven-day rolling average of cases, that number has been down eleven days in a row.

We reported 1249 deaths, down from 1410 a week ago. If you follow the seven-day rolling average of deaths, that number has now been down ten days in a row.
