Today, the United States reported 70,784 new cases of the novel coronavirus, down from 75,193 a week ago (Covid Tracking Project). The little downturn on the graph continues for the moment.
However, we reported 1308 deaths today, up from 1178 a week ago. The rolling seven-day average graph basically shows deaths continuing to go straight up for something like three weeks now.
