Today, the United States reported 70,043 cases of the novel coronavirus, up from 65,106 a week ago (Covid Tracking Project). On the one hand, that's more than a week ago. On the other hand, we've now gone five days without breaking a record.
We reported 1126 deaths today, up from 855 a week ago.
