Today, the United States reported 57,948 cases of the novel coronavirus, down slightly from the 58,357 reported a week ago (Covid Tracking Project). That's pretty neat, compared to what we've been seeing lately. On the other hand, we did hit an all-time high of about 77,000 just three days ago, so don't run around celebrating just yet. Give it another four days and see where we are.

We reported 365 deaths today, up from 327 a week ago, and we're now at 12 of the last 14 days with deaths trending up week-over-week.

Los Angeles is talking about shutting down again. Time will tell.

The usual graphs are attached.
