A Draft Hebrew Bible in English

This is the online home for a project of mine -- I'm working on creating a rough draft of portions of the Hebrew Bible in English, using the WEB and ASV as my basic sources of wording, though not strictly bound to either. The goal is to produce an edition of the Hebrew Bible in English which is (1) in line with the results of mainstream academic scholarship on the Bible, (2) is in the public domain, and (3) written in a relatively current form of English.

What I have here is not the culmination of that goal -- it's just one man's puttering along toward it. I leave what little I've done here in case someone might find it useful.
