biblicalambiguities.net -- general disclaimer
...

biblicalambiguities.net is a website of mine which I'm in the process of winding down, as I migrate whatever content I want to save away from it.

The purpose of the site was not primarily to showcase any original work I've done -- although certainly it does contain a lot of my own opinions and explanations. The primary purpose of the site was not producing anything really new but gathering various facts together so that they could easily be seen at a glance.

As a result, I sometimes paraphrased or borrowed wording from sources written before 1923 without individual attribution in each case. This was always an open policy of the website, easily visible from the front page, so I would argue that it does not constitute plagiarism. And I always maintained a list of the sources from which I would do this sort of borrowing -- any source not on the list has been cited just as a regular person would cite anything. All the sources that I listed are easily available on the internet for the interested reader to read online.

For the base text of the Bible, I have often leaned heavily on the King James Version or Revised Version, just for the sake of convenience. See the biblicalambiguities-translation-disclaimer for more on this.

Another source I've leaned on heavily is Kittel Biblia Hebraica. Often I have cited Kittel; in some cases I have not. This provides the basis for most of my notes regarding textual criticism.

Another set of sources is the pre-1923 volumes of the International Critical Commentary series. You can find them if you Google them.

There's also three other commentaries I have used in Genesis: Dillmann, Skinner, and Driver.
