The Southern Baptist Convention, or SBC, holds a significant place in American culture as the largest conservative Protestant denomination. As it pertains to the Bible, they tend to take an inerrantist stance and oppose the major findings of biblical scholarship. In the last couple decades, they've begun to produce their own Bibles, with the HCSB appearing in 2004, and now the CSB in 2017.
