The term cursive is used to refer to the sorts of Hebrew commonly found in hand-written texts. Since Hebrew Bibles are not printed in the cursive script, I'll not concern myself with it much on this website. However, strictly as a matter of personal advice, I recommend that learners of Hebrew use cursive script when they are hand-writing. It is worth noting that the cursive letters are not "cursive" in the sense that is meant when speaking of "cursive" English writings -- the letters do not join to one another in that way.
