ʕt, when read, ʕet, means "time". BDB outlines the usage of the word as follows. I've made a few minor alterations and left some things out. The BDB lists this under ʕnh, I.

    • ʕet, time
        1. time of an event, etc.
        • a. usually with a preposition
          • with b-, especially in the expression baʕet hahiʕ, in that time
            • also baʕet hazzot, baittim hahem
            • bekol ʕet, at all times = continually
            • bekol ʕet ʔašer, as long as I see Mordecai (Esther 5:13)
          • with l-
            • at the time when (2 Samuel 11:1)
            • leʕittim reḥoqot, for distant times
          • with k-
            • maḥar kaʕet hazzot, tomorrow about this time
            • kaʕet alone, at this time = now (Judges 13:23, probably)
        • b. often in construct, defined by the following noun
        • c. followed by an infinitive, as leʕet boʔ haššemeš
        • d. followed by a clause with a finite verb (poetic or late)
        • a. usual time
        • b. proper, suitable time
        • c. appointed time
        • d. as uncertain, time and chance, Ecclesiastes 9:11.
        1. = experiences, fortunes
        1. occurrence, occasion
